Ranjit Deora

President/ Teacher

“It is my wish to change the face of yoga therapy for a new age of individuals who want to become partners in their self healing process.”

Whether you suffer from stress, anxiety, fear, frustration, depression or want to increase your quality of life, techniques of yoga therapy can help. Ranjit Deora developed these unique techniques through learning with nature.

Ranjit was exposed to Ayurveda, the life science, when he was just 14 years old. He then learned how to self diagnose and benefit from this age old science.

Mr. Deora has developed techniques of yoga therapy to manage Stress, Anxiety Depression, Arthritis, Diabetes, and Heart Conditions and how to use ancient knowledge of yoga in a modern setting to help you with these techniques for self healing and cure. He has taught therapeutic yoga in New York, Florida and now teaches in Charlotte, North Carolina. His breathing and stretching exercises with meditation are very helpful in treating arthritis, heart conditions, diabetes, and many other physical and mental conditions.

Ranjit learned yoga and meditation from his Guru, Dhirendra Bhramchari in India, who was also the teacher of the late Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the former prime minister of India. Later, he met Shri Bhrama Nanda Sarasvati, formerly known as Dr. Rama Murti S. Mishra MD, the founder of famous Ananda Ashram in Monroe, New York. This master of many gurus gave Ranjit the secret of how to look inside and meditate on Bindu (The Zero).

Our Projects in the U.S.

College of Ayurveda

Scientists are mapping the pathways that link emotion to health. The challenge for the rest of us is to put the discoveries to work and that can be done by qualified doctors and health care professionals.

Ayurveda Research

Without knowing what may be affecting our health, we can do little about it.

Research in the west has not emphasized finding a "cure" but rather symptom relief.

When people with chronic illness have not found satisfactory answers from western medicine, they often seek alternative treatments. One such treatment option is based in the Ayurvedic philosophy. Since most people do not know much about this holistic lifestyle, as it is a much more than just medicine, we need to prove it.
