YHS is the sole collector and owner of your information. This information is used only by YHS and our agents, who are also bound by these terms, to facilitate your request for Therapies, Your information is never shared, sold, or made available in any way, to third parties for any purpose other than managing your Wellness, unless legally required to do so or with your explicit written permission.

The sole purpose of this web site is to provide information about the tradition of yoga and Ayurveda. This information is not intended for use in the diagnosis, prevention or cure of any disease. If you have any serious, acute or chronic health concern, please consult a trained health professional who can fully assess your needs and address them effectively. The diagnosis of clinical anxiety or depressive disorders and any other ailment, as well as the dispensing of medication requires a physician or other qualified mental health professional. The information provided is intended for informational purposes only. Please understand that the opinions shared with you are meant to be general reference information, and are not intended as a diagnosis or substitute for consulting with your physician or other qualified mental health professional.

Reservations and Payments

A $200 deposit is required to secure your reservation. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. For reservations on a tour departing within 90 days, full payment by credit card is required at the time of your booking and we will require a signed credit card authorization form. YHS will consider your reservation canceled if the balance due is not received on time and cancellation penalties will apply. Tour prices are per person and based on double occupancy

Cancellations and Refunds

If you cancel your trip you must notify us in writing or Fax. A minimum $200 administrative fee will be retained for any cancellation. This fee reflects only the costs of administering a reservation and is not intended to be punitive in any way. We understand that most people cancel reservations out of necessity and we will calculate your refund on the day we receive written cancellation. Please be aware that all cancellation fees are per person. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation.

Full payment is due 60 days prior to the trip start date.

For cancellations received 60 days prior to the trips start date you will receive a full refund minus a $200 administrative fee.

For cancellations between 60- 30 days prior to the trip start date you will receive a 50 % refund of the trip price.

For cancellations 30 days or less prior to the trip start date there is no refund.

There are NO exceptions to these cancellations policies for any reason, including personal emergencies and weather. There is no refund for leaving a trip early or arriving late. We cannot make any refund for any unused portion of your trip.

YHS reserves the right to make changes to departures, itineraries and prices due to unforeseen circumstances. Every effort is made to select alternative hotels of the same high quality and to keep route changes minimal. We reserve the right to cancel any trip that does not meet the minimum level of participants. In the unlikely event that we must cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund. YHS will not reimburse for any personal expenses due to changes in itineraries or trip cancellations, such as pre-paid hotel expenses or airline tickets. YHS reserves the right to decline a reservation or to refuse service during a trip to anyone whose health or behavior could impede the welfare or enjoyment of fellow guests.

Travel Protection

Travel insurance including cancellation insurance is strongly recommended and can be purchased through your local travel agent at a minimal cost to you.

Changes and Transfers

To transfer a reservation to another tour or tour date outside of 60 days prior to your original departure date, a $200 per person Administrative charge applies. Within 60 days our cancellation policies apply. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Late Bookings

To secure reservations on a tour departing within 60 days, full payment by credit card is required at time of booking and we will require a signed credit card authorization form. Reservations made within 60 days of the departure may require 72 hours for confirmation.

Responsibility (Release of liability and assumption of all risks)

The payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation on a trip shall constitute your consent to all provisions that are listed under the “Terms and Conditions” listed on this page. YHS, its agents, contractors, and employees shall not be responsible or liable for any personal injuries, death, accidents, costs, property damage, personal loss to you or those traveling with you in connection with accommodations, transportation, or other travel services, or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond the control of YHS her agents, employees, and contractors. This includes but is not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of or changes in itinerary or schedules.

The payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation on a trip shall constitute your consent to all provisions that are listed under the “Terms and Conditions” listed on this page. This includes but is not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of or changes in itinerary or schedules.

YHS reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in accommodation prices, currency fluctuations etc. YHS reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any trip and to cancel or alter the trip without notice. YHS is not responsible for expenses incurred by guests in preparing for the trip (e.g. equipment, non-refundable advance purchase air tickets etc.) or for additional travel arrangements made on your own. Accommodations are subject to change.

Gratuities Gratuities for meals that are included on your trip are paid by YHS for hotel staff and alcoholic drink servers are not. Gratuities to tour escort are always appreciated but are entirely at your discretion.

Medical Issues

You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking , of any physical, emotional, or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you fail to disclose any such conditions, YHS may refuse to allow you to take the trip and you will forfeit the trip cost. In such an event we have no liability, financial or otherwise.

If you are so challenged you must bring and be responsible for all necessary items related to your condition. If any condition arises after the trip is booked, you must advise us in writing immediately. Failure to advise us shall release YHS and all professional personnel from any liability related to such a condition and its treatment.

We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.

Children

Children 16 years or older are welcome on any of our trips if accompanied by an adult. A copy of a birth certificate will be required.

Health and Fitness

Your health and safety during your trip are our primary concern, however, YHS is not a medical facility. Selecting a trip appropriate to your interests and ability and being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip are part of your responsibility. In some cases you may want to discuss your trip with your medical care provider. YHS reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose condition may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants. YHS is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment you may require during the trip. Under no circumstances is YHS responsible for the quality of medical care, or lack thereof, you may receive on the trip. We require all participants to purchase medical insurance for travelers.
