Back Pain Relief: Simple, effective yoga exercises can beat the backache blues
Most people suffer from back pain at some point in their lives. Women are more vulnerable to back pain due to childbearing and child rearing puts a heavy load on a woman's back. It may also come from tension, lack of sleep, or stress.
Our program includes stretching exercises, breath work, and meditation.
In some cases, the effects of yoga exercises may be immediate. In addition, it will reveal your true power through patience and long-term commitment.
The Spinal Twist Yoga Pose tones the spinal nerves and ligaments, and improves digestion.

If you are suffering from backache pain, it is very important to drink lots of water. Make sure you drink at least 2 glasses as soon as you feel an ache building up in your back.

Our philosophy is to Reach Out and give back to the community. We're invested in it on a personal level. Whether you connect with one of these causes or find another that's close to your heart, we hope you'll join us in making today better than yesterday.
Yoga means Union of Mind, Body, and Spirit: Those who practice Yoga in its purest form view it as much more than just a form of exercise. It is considered a holistic experience which rejuvenates your mind, body and spirit.
Teaching Yoga to Seniors
Slow the signs of aging and feel younger with simple light yoga and meditation.
On the first Saturday of each month we offer a one hour Introduction to Meditation class from 9:30 to 10.30 AM which includes a guided meditation and is taught by Guru Ranjit, nationally known teacher or our staff. Please call in for advance registration as seats are limited.
The class is free.
We have taught classes at Mecklenburg Senior Center, Tyvola Rd., Shamrock Rd., and at the Cabarrus County Senior Center in Concord.

Yoga for Youth
Student Health and Wellness - A COOPERATIVE EFFORT.
A program for angry or depressed children as well as ADHD.
We provide our program free to the Alexander Youth Network.
Participants commonly report:
- Practical life skills to release of both physical and mental stress.
- Improved concentration, self awareness and self acceptance.
- Improved physical strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.
- Better communication between students, parents & teachers.
Our program is a genuine win-win opportunity for everyone.
The Community Partnership:
Please join us as we put our yoga to the task of service to the community. There
are four upcoming community events in the year. All the events will be co-sponsored
by local non-profits so that you can help yourself and your community.
Workshops will be taught by members of our yoga health solutions staff.
